Kamil Yazıcı and İzzet Özilhan established the Anadolu Foundation in 1979, naming it after the lands in which they live, endeavoring to share what they earn from the lands of-Anatolia (Anadolu in Turkish) with its residents, and to go above and beyond in the support they provide.

The Foundation has been enriching the people of Anatolia through its projects, making a difference in the fields of education and health for more than 40 years, and we continue to support local people in these fields with a social entrepreneurial approach to all of our works.

Our Founders

Having determined our core values as investing in people and society with the power of a “Common Mind” philosophy, we have constructed more than 50 facilities to date, including hospitals, healthcare centers, dormitories and schools across Anatolia that have been put into use for the benefit of the people of Anatolia.

The Anadolu Foundation has to date provided scholarships to tens of thousands of students who lack the necessary financial resources for their education, as well as free healthcare services to those in need, covering the costs of hundreds of thousands of treatments.

In line with the visions of our Honorary Presidents Kamil Yazıcı and İzzet Özilhan (deceased), the Anadolu Foundation has touched the lives of hundreds of thousands of people, with full knowledge that the success we achieve through our ideals is measured not in numbers, but by the wellbeing of the people. We are continuing our works under the mission of the “Foundation of Anatolia” based on the inspiration we take from the vision of our founders, the pride in dedicating our efforts to this country and the responsibility of many more future projects.
